During World War II, my father was too young to serve, but he still did his part — collecting scrap metal, tending a victory garden, and gathering postcards marked with a bold red V for Victory. Those cards became reminders that hope can rise even in uncertain times. Romans 8 offers the same assurance: the Spirit intercedes when we cannot pray, God works all things for good, and nothing can separate us from His love. The red V pointed to earthly hope; Romans 8 points to eternal victory.
