As I flew home from Colorado after visiting my grandchildren, I watched puffy clouds cast wide shadows across the land. From the ground, the day may have felt dreary—but from above, the same clouds were crowned with radiant sunshine and a deep blue sky. The view reminded me that while clouds will always come, God’s presence and light remain. When we look up with thanksgiving, we behold “an awesome wonder” beyond the clouds.
